A Valued Opinion:

If I was born in a boat out at sea,
I should never have to wonder of what I would be.
I would breath in the sails and breath out the waves,
I would not be restricted to a time, season, month or days.
I could pillage, I could plunder, I could rescue if I choose,
But what is the risk worth if you have nothing to lose?
And where's the choice in total oblivion in one's own existence,
As if I'm chasing after my own death with all haste and persistence.
If this man is so free, why is he confined to a canvas and a frame,
His own existence was conjured and limited by someone else's brain.
If life is anything, it is adventure, discovery and danger for sure,
But I will find the worth in my own risk, rest assured, I will find her.
So I take a step back, walk away from the waves and the sea,
Because if I am anything in this world, I am certainly free.
